One of my favorite jobs is being a Mom to the four amazing children God has blessed me with. This time of year used to always be bittersweet to me as they moved on to the next grade and stage of life in their life. I was so proud to see what they accomplished but sad they were growing up way too fast. 

As I see pictures of graduations and end-of-school-year events, it reminds me of those days. If you have small children, be sure to slow down and enjoy the small things as they grow to become adults. My children are all adults now, and my oldest loves to tell me they aren’t kids anymore, but they are forever my kids, no matter how old they get.

You know God feels that way about us; we are forever his children no matter how grown we think we are. Throughout our lives, we are in such a hurry to move on to the next stage that we forget to stop and enjoy the present moment. 

Life goes fast. Yes, be sure to accomplish your goals and set big dreams but remember to enjoy the journey. In business and in life, the learning and growing moments along the way are as important as the results. Keep moving forward, creating the life and business you love but remember to enjoy the process. Breathe, take time to rock the baby, and be with the important people in your life. Because in the end, life is short, and we all need to live out our purpose and calling.
